ここでいう「右折」は、日本でいうところの「左折」のこと。これってすごく合理的でいいルールだと思います。自己責任ていわれるとビビる人もいるかもしれないけど、あれを経験すると逆に、行ける状態なのにじいっと待ってるのが不自然に思えます。

“行ける状態”の定義をしてくれ。ドライバー同士の共通認識を歩行者が納得できるように説明しろ。”車が通行できて歩行者に接触しない”を行けるって思ってるなら、正当防衛で殺す。
